Before you install
All ReservePress products run on any modern managed WordPress host. Most hosts meet these requirements by default.
We recommend staying current with WordPress releases for security and compatibility.
PHP 8.2 required for ReservePress Hotels and Studio. Most managed hosts offer PHP version selection in their control panel.
HTTPS is required for Stripe payment processing. Most hosts include a free Let's Encrypt certificate.
WordPress permalinks must be set to "Post name" for booking URLs to work correctly. Set this under Settings → Permalinks before activating the plugin.
A free Stripe account is required for payment processing. Connect your API keys in the plugin settings.
For reliable guest email delivery, we recommend a dedicated SMTP provider — Gmail, SendGrid, Mailgun, or Brevo all work well.
